architecture + visual communication

My name is David Rose, a dual masters student at Arizona State University in the Design School of the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts. I am currently studying to earn a masters in architecture as well as a masters of science in design (MSD) with a concentration in visual communications. My personal interests in way finding, signage, and cognitive mapping of the built environment is my MSD research focus that analyzes methods to integrate way finding elements into the built environment establishing a cohesive merger of graphic design and architecture.
